Scientists have invented a real invisibility cloak that has the ability to adapt to different environments.

While the Harry Potter series might have made the invisibility cloak famous, two researchers have discovered a way to make that fiction a reality. The Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering have invented an authentic invisibility cloak that has the ability to adapt and change with different types and sizes.
PHD student Michael Selvanayagam and Professor George Eleftheriades are behind the innovative invention. By surrounding an object with small antennas that are able to radiate an electromagnetic field, the field cancels out waves that stem from the cloak thus making it appear invisible.
